I can see right through you

Hey All,

So I've been doing some tests on the new Snow White Mid-temperature Casting Slip. This is our upcoming Ultra White Porcelain and it is fantastic!

I thought y'all would like this. This piece has been fired to Cone 6 and is full vitrified and fully translucent! I am super psyched. I've never seen anything like this, Have you? Not to sound creepy, but you can see the light passing through my fingers, through the clay!

Snow White is almost ready for public consumption, just a few more tests to run and finalizing artwork.

Here is a button so you can see the whiteness.

I work with a clay body now that also has translucent qualities at cone 6.... but I am almost out and do not have the means to mix more. Looks like I may be giving you a call soon!

I like it. Any chance similar to cone 10?

sign me up! I'd like to try this as soon as you have some available. I liked the casting qualities of your other casting slip but it wasn't as white as I'd like. I'm presently using a Laguna casting slip for its whiteness but it is a pain to cast.
I am VERY interested in your new product!

p.s. (or should it be p.p.- post post) The image in my profile photo is one of my cast pieces that I would like to use your new slip for!

very nice, have you read THIS (http://www.tomturnerporcelain.com/page059.htm)

"Don’t blame the porcelain, blame yourself, or better yet, formulate your own porcelain."

Ha ha John. Yes, I'm working on it, but if Matt and Dave's works I can easily be persuaded to stop my testing.......

I would love to know the formula of this slipcast. If you would like to share the percents. :)

I can't do that.
But I will be happy to see you as much as you can use!
